Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne is seeking a Teen Coordinator to oversee daily site operations and develop teen programs. The role involves onboarding staff, mentoring team members, and executing a strategic plan to grow the Teen Program.

The coordinator may serve as acting Director in the Area Director’s absence. The position emphasizes safety, program quality, and youth engagement, with a typical 10am–6pm schedule, Monday through Friday, and close collaboration with local schools to promote

Qualifications

• Knowledge of teen development.
• Ability to motivate teens and manage behavior.
• Ability to deal with the general public.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for teens.
• Ability to organize and supervise teens in a safe environment.
• Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications.
• Valid state driver license.
• Be a "team" player in order to reach our goals.
• Maturely and professionally engage with teens to create a fun, innovative and safe experience that promotes our Club's mission and overarching vision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Teens for Success by developing and implementing teen programs.
• Lead program leadership and staff development through onboarding, mentoring and coaching.
• Support daily operations including attendance tracking and member check-in.
• Monitor program quality using club metrics and documentation.
• Lead Career Pathways program and collaborate with schools for teen recruitment.
