Job summary

Buckner Children and Family Services in Dallas seeks a Teen Program Coordinator to develop and implement the West Dallas Teen Enrichment Academy, serving youth ages 13-17 with structured supervision and engaging activities.

You’ll train students on career exploration, leadership, and life skills, design a holistic curriculum with community partners, and supervise staff while upholding Buckner’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in education or related field; high school diploma/GED required.
• Minimum 2 years related experience with children and families; prior program and staff management experience.
• Ability to drive a vehicle with valid license; must meet Buckner driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide training for students ages 13-17 on job and life skills.
• Design and implement a holistic teen program with curriculum, projects, and partners.
• Supervise program staff and ensure compliance with Buckner policies.
• Organize schedule and adapt program content to student needs.
• Monitor progress with daily supervision, assignments and testing.
• Engage families through regular meetings and involvement systems.
