Job summary

TUMO Los Angeles is seeking a programming specialist to lead teen programming workshops at the LA center, delivering hands-on projects and mentoring students aged 12 to 18. You will evaluate student work and provide feedback to help them grow in programming and software engineering.

Responsibilities include collecting and evaluating workshop results, giving weekly feedback, and delivering demonstrations to excite students about the field.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in computer science or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication and public presentation in English.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine student self-learning results and provide weekly feedback.
• Provide demonstrations to excite students about the field of programming and computer science.
