Job summary

URBAN TXT: Teens Exploring Technology in Los Angeles is seeking a Youth Engagement and Programs Associate to work directly with students, build strong relationships, and create meaningful program experiences.

You will support recruitment, lead workshops and presentations, and help improve processes behind TXT programs. This part-time role requires flexibility for evenings and Saturdays and a passion for helping underrepresented youth succeed in technology.

Qualifications

• Interest or experience working with middle school or high school youth.
• Must complete a background check.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Engage and build strong relationships with youth through TXT programs and services.
• Plan and lead youth activities, workshops, and events.
• Support student recruitment and outreach efforts, including presentations at schools.
• Help develop and improve the processes, systems, and practices behind TXT youth programs and workshops.
