Gradient AI in Boston is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to lead a fast-growing TechOps team responsible for maintaining critical applications and infrastructure. The role combines defining a vision for operational excellence with hands-on execution in a hybrid Boston-office setup.

You will drive high-availability cloud deployments, partner with DevOps and SecOps to mature security posture, build monitoring and alerting tools, manage SLAs, and scale processes for incident response and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing applications and IT infrastructure
• 2+ years managing high-performing teams
• Experience implementing monitoring and logging for SaaS environments
• Strong communication with senior leadership and engineering teams

Responsabilités

• Oversee TechOps and IT initiatives including helpdesks
• Partner with DevOps to deploy and manage high-availability cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with SecOps to mature security posture
• Create tools for system health monitoring, SLAs, and alerting
• Establish metrics to assess team bandwidth
• Evolve incident management and escalation processes
• Ensure staffing covers SLA response times
