Job summary

Plaid is seeking a skilled IT Operations Engineer to support a large Mac fleet and modern SaaS platforms. You’ll implement infrastructure-as-code, automate recurring tasks, and strengthen security across the company’s internal systems.

In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate with Engineering, Security, and GTM teams, own Okta and MDM configurations, and help scale our tools as Plaid grows. Office presence required three days weekly in SF or nearby.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting a large fleet of macOS devices.
• Experience with mobile device management for Apple devices (Iru, Intune, Workspace One).
• Experience with configuration as code, such as Terraform.
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting.
• Experience leveraging Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools to improve the quality and efficiency of the solutions you build.
• Experience using and managing major central business and development systems (Google Workspace, Slack, Jira).

Responsibilities

• Own Okta config: lifecycle policies, access reviews, MFA, and Workflows automation
• Manage endpoint configuration via Iru or Kandji, with policy-as-code approach
• Build and maintain automation to reduce repetitive support
• Evaluate, deploy, and support AI tooling to boost productivity
• Manage SaaS procurement and renewals for the team systems
• Support company-wide SaaS platforms like Google Workspace, Linear, Slack, Okta
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and GTM on cross-team work
• Work from the office 3 days per week
