Job summary

Plaid Inc. is seeking a security-minded TechOps role to own multi-domain infrastructure and automation for a thousand-person company. You will lead macOS fleet management, define IaC-driven configurations, and collaborate with Security, Engineering, and People teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting a large fleet of macOS devices.
• Mobile device management for Apple devices (Iru, Intune, Workspace One).
• Configuration as code (e.g., Terraform).
• Advanced usage of Bash/Python or similar scripting languages.
• Leveraging Claude Code, Codex or similar tools to improve solution quality and efficiency.
• Experience managing, and defining business systems like Google Workspace, Slack, Linear/Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and unblock others by providing mentorship.
• Help build the team roadmap and back it with a plan.
• Own and improve Okta configuration, lifecycle policies, access reviews, MFA enforcement, Workflows automation.
• Manage endpoint configuration via Iru/Kandji with policy-as-code approach.
• Build and maintain automation to reduce repetitive support burden.
• Evaluate, deploy and support AI tooling to boost productivity.
• SaaS procurement and renewals for the systems we own.
• Own company-wide SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Linear, Slack, Okta).
• Support other Eng, Security and GTM teams on cross-boundary work.
• 3 days a week in the office.
