Job summary

Plaid is seeking a TechOps leader to own and evolve infrastructure for thousands of macOS devices. You will drive automation, security, and reliability across identity, endpoint management, and internal tooling, collaborating with Security, Engineering, and People teams.

The role emphasizes infrastructure as code, automation-first mindset, and AI tooling adoption, with a 3-day-week in-office expectation in Seattle. Equity/compensation details are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting a large fleet of macOS devices
• Proven Apple device MDM experience (Iru, Intune, Workspace One)
• Configuration as code (Terraform) and scripting (bash/python)
• Experience leveraging Claude Code, Codex or similar AI tools
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira/Linear workflows

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team members to unblock work and provide guidance
• Contribute to roadmap and plan future work with a defined strategy
• Own and improve Okta configuration, lifecycle policies, MFA, and automation
• Manage endpoint configuration via Iru/Kandji with policy-as-code
• Build automation to reduce repetitive support workload
• Evaluate and deploy AI tooling to boost productivity
• Handle SaaS procurement/renewals for key platforms
• Actively own multiple companywide SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Jira/Linear)
• Support adjacent teams on cross-functional projects
• 3 days per week in the office
