Job summary

Plaid is seeking a TechOps IT Engineer to own and improve our corporate infrastructure, focusing on secure, scalable systems used by thousands. You’ll work on Okta, endpoint management, and automation, with a culture of IaC and automation-first thinking.

This role involves on-call rotation and implementing policy-as-code to reduce manual effort. You'll partner with Security, Engineering, and People teams to keep Plaid's internal environment reliable as we scale, including managing SaaS platforms

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting a large macOS device fleet.
• Experience with Apple MDM (Iru/Intune/Workspace One).
• Configuration as code experience (Terraform).
• Bash or Python scripting experience.
• Familiar with AI coding assistants (Claude Code/Codex).
• Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira/Linear.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve Okta configuration, including MFA and lifecycle policies.
• Manage endpoint config via Iru or Kandji with policy-as-code.
• Build automation to reduce repetitive support tasks.
• Evaluate and deploy AI tooling to boost productivity.
• Manage SaaS procurement and renewals for team systems.
• Support Google Workspace, Linear, Slack, and Okta company-wide.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and GTM on cross-team work.
• Work from the office 3 days per week.
