Cherokee Federal is seeking a Technology Transfer Licensing Manager in Frederick, MD to partner with Licensing Officers and Commercialization Officers. You will manage a portfolio of DHA inventions, evaluate commercial potential, coordinate patent protection, and negotiate licenses and MTAs while supporting trade show participation.

The role requires a Ph.D./Masters or JD with biotech background, 5–10 years in academic tech transfer, and U.S. citizenship.

Formación

• Ph.D. or master's in bio/medical science or JD with biotech focus.
• 5–10 years of academic technology transfer experience.
• US citizen; NAC check.
• Knowledge of licensing agreements, patents, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with commercialization strategies and license negotiations.

Responsabilidades

• Perform background and market research on technologies for partners.
• Develop commercialization strategy with inventors and leadership.
• Prepare technology fact sheets and market DHA technologies.
• Assist ORTAs in obtaining new invention disclosures.
• Draft and negotiate license agreements, CRADAs, MTAs.
• Provide commercialization information for monthly Invention Evaluation Committee meetings.
• Maintain licensing files and IP database (Anaqua).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
