Georgia Tech is seeking a Senior Commercialization Catalyst to support its extension, services, and economic development missions in Georgia and beyond. This role applies expertise in technology transfer, IP management, and licensing to faculty, students, and institute partners, driving measurable outcomes.

The candidate will lead multiple projects, cultivate industry relationships, and negotiate license terms while aligning with Georgia Tech's strategic goals. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Technology, Science, Law, or other related fields.
• Six to eight years of job-related experience, preferably in business development, the legal profession, or other technology commercialization-related fields.
• Preferred: MS or doctorate in a business, legal, or technology-related field.
• Preferred: RTTP or CLP certifications.
• Preferred: experience in academic technology transfer and licensing.

Responsabilités

• Lead multiple portfolios and complex-level initiatives that support Georgia Tech's commercialization mission.
• Manage a portfolio of technologies, including technical, market, and IP evaluation.
• Evaluate industry needs by building an extensive network of industry contacts and consult with researchers on tech development trends.
• Serve as Georgia Tech subject matter expert in IP management, negotiation, and documentation.
• Edit and finalize license agreements and negotiate terms; coordinate with GT legal and sponsored programs offices.
• Lead community outreach to raise awareness of Georgia Tech's commercialization mission and partnerships.
• Develop and implement technology transfer procedures to improve workflow and processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
