Delta Dental of North Carolina is seeking a strategic Director of Technology to lead our IT function and act as the senior technical voice in planning and governance. You will oversee a cloud-based data platform, vendor relationships, and emerging automation/AI initiatives to advance our operations and reporting capabilities.

Formación

• 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and outsourced technical services.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (healthcare, finance, insurance).
• Strong data security, governance and compliance knowledge.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and business applications.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to executive leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead IT services and vendor governance, ensuring value and accountability.
• Partner with governance forums and Board to translate tech into business terms.
• Develop and manage a cloud-based data platform (e.g., Snowflake).
• Identify and govern automation/AI use cases and platforms (Power Automate, Copilot).
• Ensure HIPAA/PHI compliance and support risk assessments and audits.
• Build and mentor the Strategic Data Analyst and broader tech team.
