Job summary

Suburban Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician - Technology to diagnose, repair, and service a broad range of low voltage systems including CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.

The role requires reading wiring diagrams, using diagnostic software, and hands-on problem solving with strong customer interaction. Responsibilities include field troubleshooting, equipment upgrades, inventory management, and ensuring safety and quality through GMPs and codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience with electronics or low voltage systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification shortly after start date.
• NFPA70E training required or able to obtain it.
• Possesses valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose system malfunctions in the field and perform repairs.
• Troubleshoot wiring and system-level electronics and perform upgrades.
• Maintain accurate inventories of tools and parts and assist with installations.
• Read wiring diagrams and use manufacturer diagnostics software.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
