Job summary

Dublin City Schools seeks a Coordinator of Technology Services to lead the IT operations team, oversee network infrastructure, systems administration and service delivery, and establish IT standards, protocols, and privacy controls.

You will collaborate with district leaders to align technology initiatives with academic objectives, manage budgets and vendor relations, and mentor staff toward excellence in customer service and technical operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Technology related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years leading design and support of enterprise IT infrastructures with up-time emphasis.
• Experience managing help desk and application support functions.
• Experience in K-12 and/or not-for-profit sector desirable.
• Experience in a software as a service product company desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Leadership of teams managing infrastructures and network connectivity across multiple buildings.
• Alternative to the above qualifications may be acceptable at Superintendent/Board discretion.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains network infrastructure and oversees IT customer service to drive technology services, security and privacy.
• Leads IT customer service operations, systems administration, network operations, and physical infrastructure.
• Ensures district-wide network systems are implemented, monitored and supported for maximum availability.
• Collaborates to create and improve service delivery processes including change and incident management.
• Manages technology deployment to secure, consistent production releases.
• Hires, trains, mentors and manages staff toward excellence as technical professionals.
• Identifies and evaluates new technologies to serve students and staff.
• Maintains a culture of exceptional customer service and uptime.
• Oversees infrastructure elements including desktops, servers, storage, databases and threat management.
• Develops and enforces information security policies and data privacy measures.
• Provides guidance on information security policy creation and implementation.
• Oversees security incident response planning and investigations.
• Manages departmental budgets and vendor relationships for IT infrastructure services.
• Ensures safety of students and maintains professional relationships across the district.
