EY USA is offering a Summer 2027 internship within the Assurance - Technology Risk 360 Careers program. The role focuses on IT audit, risk assessment, and process documentation across diverse client environments.

Successful candidates will explore career paths in assurance, gain exposure to SOC reports, risk controls, and IT governance, and participate in a hybrid work model with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or Information Systems.
• Desire to pursue CPA, CISA, CISSP, or CA certification.
• Min GPA 3.0 (pref. 3.2+).
• Hybrid work model expectation: 40-60% in person over engagements.
• Willingness to travel and work extra hours when needed.
• US work authorization without sponsorship; for Government & Infrastructure, US citizenship and security clearance readiness.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document clients’ business and IT processes, risks, and controls.
• Perform control documentation and testing via client evidence and interviews.
• Plan engagement timelines and assign responsibilities for tasks.
• Monitor project progress and inform stakeholders of outcomes.
• Create flowcharts and process documentation for relevant processes.
• Contribute to SOC reports, third‑party risk assessments, and ITGC assessments for SOX audits.
