EY is offering a Summer 2027 Internship in USA - Assurance - Technology Risk. You will gain broad business perspective within EY’s Assurance practice and contribute to IT risk and control assessments across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing/holding an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or Information Systems.
• CPA, CISA, CISSP or CA certification desired.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 (prefer 3.2+).
• Hybrid model expected: most client work in person 40–60% of the time.
• Interest in IT audit demonstrated by coursework, internship, or related experience.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
• Access to reliable transportation; driver’s license recommended.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document clients’ business and IT processes, risks, and controls.
• Perform control documentation and testing through review of client evidence and interviews.
• Collaborate with engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines, assign responsibilities for key tasks and prepare planning documents.
• Monitor and manage project progress and risks; keep stakeholders informed about progress and outcomes.
• Create flowcharts and process documentation for relevant processes.
• Perform assignments including SOC reports, third-party risk assessments, IT risk and control framework design and assessments of ITGCs as part of SOX and audits.
