Job summary

EY invites motivated undergraduates or graduates to join the 360 Careers Internship in the Technology Risk Assurance practice for Summer 2027 in the US. The program provides exposure to IT risk assessments, SOC reports, and client engagements, with a hybrid work model and opportunities to travel as needed.

Strong accounting or information systems foundations and pursuit of relevant certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Pursue CPA, CISA, CISSP or CA certifications.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
• Interest in working in a hybrid model with in-person collaboration 40-60% of the time.
• Interest in IT audit demonstrated by coursework or internship experience.
• Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when needed.
• Driver's license recommended for travel.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document clients’ business and IT processes, risks, and controls.
• Perform control documentation and testing through review of client evidence and interviews.
• Collaborate with engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines, assign responsibilities for key tasks and prepare planning documents.
• Monitor and manage project progress and risks, keeping stakeholders informed about progress and outcomes.
• Create flowcharts and process documentation for relevant processes.
• Perform SOC reports, third-party risk assessments, IT risk and control framework design and assessments as part of SOX and Financial Statement audits.
