Job summary

The City of Raleigh North Carolina's Solid Waste Services Department seeks a Technology Analyst to lead department‑level technology projects and initiatives within the Administrative Division. You will coordinate tasks, manage schedules, and drive change across staff, vendors, and IT partners.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or 2 Years of College in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; 1 to 3 years' experience in asset management, system administration or a related field.
Equivalent combination of training and/or experience may be substituted.
Valid North Carolina Class C Driver’s License (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Manages technical projects; defines system requirements, priorities and viable alternatives; presents solutions to stakeholders; coordinates tasks and maintains schedules.
Serves as project team member on projects with technical components; analyzes and documents requirements.
Provides technology support for Solid Waste staff; application support including debugging, updating, and configuration; user support.
