Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Technology Project Designer to support complex low-voltage technology projects with a focus on ICT systems in buildings. The role involves design, analysis, and oversight of security, communications, AV, and related systems, with cross-functional collaboration and mentoring opportunities.

Location is Indianapolis, IL with a path for hybrid work. Travel up to 50% and involvement in education and institutional sectors are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer or related Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or STEM field.
• 7–12 years of experience in the building design consulting or construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of IT structured cabling, audio/video, security, and other low-voltage building systems.
• Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects ranging in size and complexity.
• Assist Project Executives and Client Executives with design scopes of work, fee calculations, and contract reviews.
• Create project schedules with milestone and deadline targets.
• Serve as the point of contact for teams and clients.
• Create monthly billings and update billing projections and estimated completion percentage.
