Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a dedicated Technology Paraeducator to provide device support in school settings, assisting with computers, printers, iOS devices, and more. This full-time role runs 184 days per year, 7.5 hours per day, reporting to building leadership and district technology staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be physically working in the building.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support staff in the use of technology equipment including computers, printers, cameras, LCD projectors, interactive whiteboards and slates.
• Maintain and manage all technology equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Communicate with building leadership and district technology personnel to coordinate work direction and needs.
• Update and install software as determined by district technology personnel.
• Prepare computers for state and district online tests.
