Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT leader to manage and coordinate all new product activities across the bank, guiding cross-functional IT teams and business units.

The role requires strong governance, data analysis, and stakeholder management to deliver compliant, scalable technology solutions in the banking sector.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required.
• Minimum 8 years IT experience, preferably in the Mortgage or Banking Industries.
• Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
• Ability to assist Business Units in drafting business cases requiring IT resources.
• Ability to lead Business Units in identifying technology needs and maintaining IT roadmaps.
• Ability to perform strategic data analysis and research.
• Strong experience planning requests, project charters and providing updates for managers, directors and executives.
• Written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the bank.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all new product activities across the Bank.
• Create a standardized product process, project schedule matrix and product delivery status.
• Guide Information Technology professionals responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining business application systems.
• Communicate with Information Technology teams and business unit management regarding activity status and delivery of business specifications.
• Serve as the conduit between internal and external customers and the software development team for requirements flow.
• Provide guidance and leadership as teams lead multiple projects and support internal business customers.
• Provide technical, strategic and tactical consultation to internal business customers.
• Evaluate new systems, processes and technology against long-term strategy and existing solution availability.
• Complete annual compliance training and adhere to regulatory, compliance and business-unit policies.
• Use independent judgment and discretion to make decisions; analyze and resolve problems.
• Perform talent management functions, including hiring, performance evaluations, staff development, disciplinary actions and succession planning.
• Perform special projects and additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, preferably in the Mortgage or Banking Industries
• Strong system development, technical analytical experience and hands-on leadership experience preferred
• Master's Degree in a related field preferred
• Ability to assist Business Units in drafting business cases requiring IT resources
• Ability to lead Business Units in identifying technology needs and maintaining IT roadmaps
• Ability to perform strategic data analysis and research
• Strong experience planning requests, project charters and providing updates for managers, directors and executives
