Job summary

BCG Attorney Search with Phoenix, AZ-based technology licensing team seeks a 4–7 year associate focused on data privacy, cybersecurity, and technology transactions. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to shape privacy programs, licensing strategies, and incident response for diverse clients.

The candidate will draft and negotiate complex agreements, advise on AI governance, and monitor evolving regulations while collaborating across teams to deliver integrated solutions

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• 4-7 years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or technology transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology-related agreements.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on data privacy, cybersecurity laws, and AI governance.
• Counsel on data asset management and privacy program development.
• Draft and negotiate technology and commercial agreements.
• Draft data protection provisions in corporate agreements.
• Advise on IP ownership, protection, and licensing strategies.
• Lead incident response efforts, including breach investigations.
• Monitor evolving regulations and advise on emerging obligations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to client-facing thought leadership.
