Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a talented associate to join a Technology Licensing, Data Privacy, and Security team in Highlands Ranch, CO. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and requires 4–7 years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or technology transactions.

You will advise clients on privacy compliance, draft and negotiate technology agreements, and support incident response and AI governance efforts. Strong drafting and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or technology transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology-related agreements.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity laws and AI governance frameworks.
• Counsel clients on data asset management and privacy program development.
• Draft, review, and negotiate technology and commercial agreements.
• Draft and review data protection agreements and IP provisions in transactions.
• Advise on IP ownership, protection, and licensing strategies.
• Lead and support incident response efforts, including breach investigations.
• Advise on AI governance and associated legal risks.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments and risk analyses.
• Monitor legislative developments and advise on emerging obligations.
• Assist with regulatory inquiries and enforcement actions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to client-facing thought leadership.
