Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Washington, DC seeks an associate with 4-7 years of experience to join the Technology Licensing, Data Privacy, and Security team. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement.

You will advise on data privacy, cybersecurity, AI governance, draft and negotiate technology agreements, and support incident response and regulatory inquiries.

Applicants should have a JD from an accredited law school; privacy/security certifications such as CIPP/US or CIPM are preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 4-7 years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or technology transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology-related agreements.
• Privacy or security certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance obligations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate technology and commercial agreements.
• Lead incident response efforts and breach investigations.
• Advise on IP ownership, licensing strategies.
• Provide regulatory and enforcement action support.
• Contribute to client-facing thought leadership.
