Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an associate with 4-7 years of experience to join the Technology Licensing, Data Privacy, and Security team in Naples, FL. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and the opportunity to advise on complex privacy and technology agreements.

You will draft and negotiate technology contracts, counsel on privacy programs, and support incident response, AI governance, and regulatory inquiries, collaborating across teams to deliver integrated legal solutions.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 4–7 years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or technology transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology-related agreements.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client matters independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on data privacy and cybersecurity laws and AI governance frameworks.
• Counsel clients on data asset management strategies and privacy program development.
• Draft, review, and negotiate technology and commercial agreements.
• Draft and review data protection agreements and IP provisions in corporate agreements.
• Advise on IP ownership, protection, and licensing strategies.
• Lead and support incident response efforts, including breach investigation and reporting.
• Advise on AI governance and associated legal risks.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments and risk analyses.
• Monitor legislative developments and advise on emerging obligations.
• Assist with regulatory inquiries and enforcement actions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to client-facing thought leadership.
