Job summary

Granite School District is seeking a Media Clerk - Secondary to support technology use in the media center across secondary schools. You will assist with device management, troubleshooting, and promoting digital literacy, while helping students access library resources and participate in book fairs.

The role involves supporting staff and students with Chromebooks, canva/creative tools, and Destiny-based circulation; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Experience with Destiny or library circulation software preferred.
• Experience in school, library, or customer-facing tech support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting for students and staff.
• Assist in managing and inventorying district-owned devices (Chromebooks, laptops, tablets, AV equipment).
• Assist with daily media center operations, displays, book fairs, and inventory using Destiny.
• Guide students in research skills and digital media literacy; promote reading and library resources.
