Savannah-Chatham County Public School System in Savannah, GA seeks a Library Media and Technology Clerk (Elementary) for pool locations. Immediate start; 200 work days; pay schedule 101; duties include media center operations, circulation, and basic tech support for students.

The role reports to the Principal with direction from the Media Specialist. Requirements include HS diploma or higher, additional college credits or GACE paraprofessional test, and strong organizational/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or higher; associate degree or 60 sem/90 qtr hours.
• Experience with children and general office skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills; ability to work with staff.
• Willingness to learn and multitask; knowledge of Dewey Decimal a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Media Specialist in operating the school Media Center.
• Operate the computerized circulation system and handle overdue notices.
• Provide basic tech support to students and assist in materials processing.
• Maintain Dewey decimal organization and supervise students in the absence of the Media Specialist.
• Assist in inventory, displays, and coordinating media promotions and book fairs.
