Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required, some college education preferred.
• Possess good listening skills and works as a team player.
• Ability to work independently and with middle school students.
• Library instructional skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Working under the direct supervision of the Principal and/or Office Manager.
• Understanding the purpose and function of a school library.
• Organizing and arranging a collection and processing materials.
• Working with technology in the library and managing Chromebooks.
• Developing a library schedule and maintaining inventory.
• Dealing with lost and overdue materials and training students to use the library.
