Job summary

ADT's Technology Engineering Internship in Boca Raton blends in-person work from Monday to Thursday with remote Fridays. This 11-week program (May 17–July 29, 2027) offers hands-on experience across software engineering, cloud & DevOps, data engineering, AI/ML, and automation engineering, on real teams.

You will contribute to meaningful projects, gain company exposure, and participate in a dedicated professional development track with sessions from senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028
• Completion of at least two upper-level (300/400) courses relevant to the internship discipline
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

About the Internship Program

This 11-week program places interns on teams where they'll contribute to meaningful and impactful projects from day one. Throughout the summer, interns also get exposure to ADT as a whole: sessions with different business units, briefings on current company priorities, and time with our executive leadership team, alongside a dedicated professional development track.

Placement is based on business needs, skillsets, and academic background. Project work may include developing applications, building data pipelines, automating processes, supporting cloud infrastructure, or applying AI to specific business problems.

Qualifications

Required

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028
• Completion of at least two upper-level (300/400) courses relevant to the internship discipline
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher

Compensation & Internship Details

• Compensation: $24/hour for undergraduates, $28/hour for those enrolled in a graduate program.
• Work Schedule: A 40-hour workweek is expected, with interns on-site from Monday to Thursday in our Boca Raton Headquarters, and the option to work remotely on Fridays, depending on team schedules.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as we do not offer sponsorship.
• Must be available for the entire duration of the internship program, from May 17-July 29, 2027.
• Housing allowance and relocation assistance are not offered for Internship roles.
