Job summary

ADT's Data, Analytics & AI Internship in Boca Raton combines hands-on project work with exposure to our enterprise. You'll join a team to build pipelines, dashboards, and analyses from day one, with in-person Monday-Thursday work and remote Fridays.

This 11-week program runs May 17 to July 29, 2027, targets undergrads and grads, and emphasizes professional development, leadership exposure, and real impact for ADT customers. Housing relocation not offered; U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in data analytics, CS, or related field.
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Completion of at least two upper-level (300/400) courses relevant to internship discipline.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

• Assist in building data pipelines and data integration tasks.
• Develop dashboards and reporting solutions for stakeholders.
• Analyze business and customer data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support AI and ML initiatives and help teams make data-informed decisions.

Location: Boca Raton Headquarters

Format: In-person Monday-Thursday and remote Fridays*

Dates: May 17-July 29, 2027

Compensation: $24/hour for Bachelor's students; $28/hour for Master's students

About The Internship Program

This 11-week program places interns on teams where they'll contribute to meaningful and impactful projects from day one. Throughout the summer, interns also get exposure to ADT as a whole: sessions with different business units, briefings on current company priorities, and time with our executive leadership team, alongside a dedicated professional development track.

Where You Could Work

Depending on team needs and background, interns may be placed in:

Placement is based on business needs, skillsets, and academic background. Project work may include building data pipelines, developing dashboards and reporting solutions, analyzing business and customer data, identifying trends and opportunities, supporting AI and machine learning initiatives, and helping teams make data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

Required

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028
• Completion of at least two upper-level (300/400) courses relevant to the internship discipline
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher

Standout Candidates Will Bring

• Prior internship, co-op, research, or independent project experience, along with the ability to clearly explain their individual contributions, decisions, and lessons learned
• Experience using SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytical tools
• Coursework or projects involving analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, data visualization, business intelligence, or AI
• Experience turning large datasets into actionable insights and recommendations
• Leadership experience through student organizations, athletics, military service, community involvement, or campus initiatives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Compensation & Internship Details

• Compensation: $24/hour for undergraduates, $28/hour for those enrolled in a graduate program.
• Work Schedule: A 40-hour workweek is expected, with interns on-site from Monday to Thursday in our Boca Raton Headquarters, and the option to work remotely on Fridays, depending on team schedules.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as we do not offer sponsorship.
• Must be available for the entire duration of the internship program, from May 17-July 29, 2027.
• Housing allowance and relocation assistance are not offered for Internship roles.
