Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Technology Development Operations Engineer to drive data-informed manufacturing execution across technology development programs. You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering and Operations to optimize WIP flow, improve cycle times, manage planning and develop analytics solutions that accelerate development achievements.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of related experience in manufacturing, operations, industrial engineering, analytics or related fields.
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Ops Management, or related field.
• Understanding of scheduling, inventory management, and performance metrics.
• Experience with data analysis, forecasting, root-cause analysis, and process improvement.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python or R.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, time-management and project execution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across multi-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve manufacturing performance metrics (WIP, cycle time, throughput, inventory).
• Analyze manufacturing data and identify root causes to improve line performance.
• Develop analytics, dashboards, forecasting models, and automation solutions.
• Support planning, inventory management, capacity analysis, and risk assessment.
• Collaborate across Technology Development, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations and suppliers to drive improvements.
