Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize semiconductor manufacturing performance through data analysis and structured problem-solving. Focused on corrective and preventive actions, you will drive sustainable improvements across safety, quality, and uptime.

You will apply AI-enabled solutions, lead cross-functional teams, and implement long-term equipment strategies while collaborating with maintenance, operations, and engineering partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or Associate degree/military equivalent with 2+ years semiconductor experience.
• 2+ years semiconductor manufacturing experience with understanding of equipment, process, and TPM.
• Experience applying structured problem-solving and continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Apply AI-enabled solutions to identify process improvements and drive productivity gains.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality excellence through deviation reduction and leading indicators.
• Reduce unscheduled downtime and optimize maintenance strategies.
• Develop long-term strategies for equipment performance and downtime management.
• Apply data analysis to identify root causes and improve decision-making.
• Lead cross-functional teams using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, etc.).
• Manage site initiatives with project management and deadlines.
• Support training and technology transfer from development to high-volume manufacturing.
