Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a New College Grad Engineer for the TD IE OPS team. You will drive data-informed manufacturing execution and improve operational performance across technology development programs in a semiconductor fabrication environment.

You will partner with engineering, manufacturing, and operations to optimize WIP flow, reduce cycle times, and develop analytics and automation solutions that accelerate technology development achievements.

Qualifications

0-2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, operations, industrial engineering, supply chain, analytics, or related fields.
Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Understanding of manufacturing operations including scheduling, inventory management, balancing production demands, workflow optimization, and performance metrics.
Experience with data analysis, statistics, forecasting, root-cause analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and process improvement techniques.
Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, or similar platforms.
Experience using AI-enabled tools and technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Monitor and improve manufacturing performance metrics (WIP, cycle time, throughput, inventory positioning) to support program objectives.
Analyze manufacturing data to identify root causes and develop recommendations.
Develop analytics, dashboards, forecasting models, and automation solutions to improve visibility and planning accuracy.
Support starts planning, inventory management, capacity analysis, risk assessment, and project execution activities.
Collaborate across Technology Development, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Equipment, and suppliers to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
