Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, ID, seeks a Technology Development Operations Engineer to drive data-informed manufacturing execution and performance across technology development programs.

You will partner with engineering, manufacturing, industrial engineering, and operations to optimize WIP flow, improve cycle times, manage risks, and develop analytics and automation solutions that accelerate development milestones.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations including scheduling, inventory management, balancing production demands, workflow optimization, and performance metrics.
• Experience with data analysis, statistics, forecasting, root-cause analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and process improvement techniques.
• Proficiency with analytical and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, or similar platforms.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools such as AI-assisted analytics tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, time-management, and project execution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across multi-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve manufacturing performance metrics including WIP, cycle time, throughput, inventory positioning, part turns, and constraints.
• Analyze manufacturing data, identify root causes, and develop recommendations to improve line performance and learning cycles.
• Develop analytics, dashboards, forecasting models, and automation solutions to improve visibility and planning accuracy.
• Support starts planning, inventory management, capacity analysis, risk assessment, and project execution activities.
• Collaborate across Technology Development, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Equipment, and suppliers to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
