Job summary

IMEG Corporation seeks a Technology Designer New Graduate in Naperville, IL to gain hands-on design and project execution experience under mentorship. You will assist in designing IT structured cabling, audio/video, security, and other low-voltage systems with BIM-based drawings, calculations, and specifications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on planning, budgeting, and client communications while growing technical and professional skills in a supportive ESOP-owned environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer or related field.
• Knowledge of design techniques for technical plans and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in office.
• Basic BIM software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of IT structured cabling, audio/video, security, and low-voltage building systems.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress with senior engineers and consultants.
