Job summary

IMEG Corp in Naperville, IL is seeking a New Graduate Technology Designer to support the analysis, design and oversight of low-voltage technology and ICT systems in buildings. You will work with experienced engineers on coordinated tech solutions, documentation, and client interactions while traveling up to 50% for project needs.

This entry-level role emphasizes learning through mentoring, teamwork, and cross-disciplinary collaboration across Education, Institutional, MEP and other markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in relevant engineering/IT/CS field.
• Knowledge of low-voltage systems design and basic IT networking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Basic BIM software knowledge.
• Able to travel up to 50% for business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop technology design drawings, specs, layouts, diagrams and calculations.
• Use software to create coordinated tech solutions per codes and project requirements.
• Coordinate technology with architectural, electrical, mechanical and structural systems.
• Support construction documents, specs, and deliverables across design phases.
• Participate in client and project team meetings and document requirements.
