Job summary

IMEG is hiring a New Graduate Technology Designer in Minneapolis, MN. This entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution with mentorship, training, and opportunities to grow from day one.

You will assist in design and analysis of IT structured cabling, audio/video, security, and other low-voltage systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client goals and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, Computer or related Engineering, IT, CS or STEM field.
• Knowledge of design techniques and tools for producing technical plans and specs.
• Strong technical and analytical skills including IT networking concepts for low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of IT cabling, audio/video, security and low-voltage building systems using engineering software.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution within budgets and timelines.
• Document design decisions and progress; monitor design progress and QC.
