IMEG is hiring a Technology Designer New Graduate in Minneapolis, MN. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship, training, and growth opportunities from day one.

You will assist in the design and implementation oversight of low‑voltage technology systems in buildings, focusing on IT structured cabling, A/V, security, and related systems. You will support project planning, document design decisions, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related engineering/tech field.
• Knowledge of design techniques and producing technical plans/specifications.
• Strong technical and analytical skills for electrical low‑voltage systems in buildings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Attention to detail and problem solving.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to challenges.
• Basic knowledge of BIM software.
• Clear oral and written communication.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to travel up to 50% (local/domestic/international).

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of IT structured cabling, AV, security, and other low‑voltage systems.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution as part of a team.
• Document design decisions and project progress.
