IMEG Corporation is seeking a Technology Project Designer to support analysis, design, and oversight of low‑voltage systems for mission critical and healthcare projects in the Naperville/Chicago area. You will mentor staff, lead design on smaller projects, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• BS/​MS in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Eng or related STEM field (or equivalent).
• 3–4 years experience in building design consulting; or
• 7–8 years with BIM/Engineering background (Option B).

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for IT structured cabling, A/V, security, and other low-voltage systems.
• Create designs, specs, and calculations complying with code and IMEG standards.
• Engage with clients to understand needs and manage expectations.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress and fees.
• Provide in-process design reviews and ensure quality standards.
