Job summary

IMEG Corp. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Technology Designer to lead low-voltage ICT systems design on large, complex projects.

The role offers two career paths: Technical Path for design leadership or Project Management Path for project oversight, with hybrid work. You will collaborate with engineers, prepare designs and reports, mentor staff, ensure code compliance, and build client relationships while staying current with technology trends.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer or related field; 10 years of building-design consulting experience preferred
• Alternate: Associate degree with BIM/engineering plus 14+ years in building-design consulting or construction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to travel up to 50% (domestic/international) and work collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of IT structured cabling, A/V, security, and other low-voltage building systems
• Produce detailed designs, specs, and calculations in compliance with codes and IMEG standards
• Provide technical reviews, mentoring, and field issue resolution with minimal senior staff support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions
