Job summary

Envision Healthcare is seeking a Corporate Counsel for Technology Operations to advise on privacy, data governance, AI governance and IT contracting. The role collaborates with Procurement, IT Enterprise Architecture, IT Security and Compliance to align policies with organizational strategy and risk management.

The team supports strategic development of IT and privacy programs and provides actionable legal guidance to executives and business partners across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology contracting, privacy, data security and AI governance.
• Proven ability to review, negotiate and draft technology agreements.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, HITECH and state privacy laws is desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication and project management skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise on enterprise technology contracting, including SaaS, MSAs, NDAs, BAAs, and DPAs.
• Collaborate with Procurement, IT Security, Compliance and Risk teams to assess risk.
• Guide privacy, data protection and AI governance policy development and oversight.
• Provide strategic legal insights to stakeholders across the organization.
• Research applicable laws and assist with day-to-day business matters.
