Job summary

Premier, a healthcare-focused employer, seeks a Corporate Counsel III specializing in privacy, AI governance, and digital risk to guide regulatory compliance across privacy and AI laws in the U.S. and international frameworks.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to implement practical governance, assessments, and contracts, while monitoring evolving privacy and AI obligations in a dynamic, remote work environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of applicable legal experience in privacy, AI, and digital risk.
• Substantial knowledge of U.S. privacy and data protection laws including HIPAA/HITECH and state laws.
• Experience interpreting AI laws and governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).
• Ability to advise on development, procurement, deployment, and governance of AI systems.
• Experience drafting/privacy and AI provisions in commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal oversight for privacy, AI, and digital risk in regulatory matters.
• Advise business, product, technology, and data stakeholders on compliant AI use cases.
• Develop and operationalize privacy, AI, and digital governance programs and policies.
• Translate regulatory requirements into scalable processes and controls.
• Support incident response, regulatory inquiries, and governance maturation.
