Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Senior Manager, Technology Category Management to own technology spend sourcing, develop category strategies, and lead a cross-functional team across geographies. This role partners with business and IT stakeholders to capture value, drive savings, manage risk, and ensure supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, IT or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in strategic sourcing or category management; 5+ years in tech.
• 3+ years leading or coaching teams across geographies.
• Proven success negotiating high-value tech contracts.
• Strong knowledge of licensing, subscriptions, and SaaS models.
• Advanced analytical skills with spend analytics tools.
• Excellent communication and executive presence.
• Experience with MA&D sourcing; healthcare/pharma a plus.
• Professional certifications (CPSM, CPP, ISM) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage category strategies and pipelines for technology spend.
• Lead sourcing events, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and awards.
• Drive productivity and cost savings across the category.
• Monitor supplier performance, SLAs, and risk across portfolio.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and report risks to senior leadership.
• Support MA&D initiatives and post-transaction integration.
