Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Technology Category Management to drive category strategy, negotiate IT contracts, and coordinate with business and IT stakeholders.

You will lead sourcing events, manage supplier relationships and track savings, risk, and performance across hardware, software, and services. The role requires 5+ years in strategic sourcing with technology focus, strong analytics, and experience with licensing models and cloud terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology or related field; MBA preferred.
• Demonstrated success negotiating technology contracts and delivering measurable savings.
• Strong analytical skills; proficiency with spend analytics and sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba, Power BI, Excel).
• Experience with MA&D sourcing support, and healthcare, pharma or other regulated industry, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Category execution: Manage category strategies, sourcing plans and pipeline priorities for assigned spend areas; develop annual plan for assigned spend.
• Productivity identification: Analyze spend, demand and market data to identify cost savings opportunities and maintain the opportunity pipeline.
• Sourcing and negotiation: Lead sourcing events, supplier evaluations, negotiations and award recommendations to secure value.
• Contract expertise: Knowledge of MSA, SaaS, Cloud agreements and licensing terms; ensure compliance.
• Productivity delivery: Deliver negotiated productivity, track benefits to completion.
• Supplier management: Manage supplier performance, contract compliance and issue resolution.
• Stakeholder coordination: Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and provide status updates to Director.
• Budget and savings tracking: Manage budgets and savings reporting.
• Market insight: Stay informed on market trends and vendor capabilities.
• MA&D support: Support MA&D initiatives and due diligence.
• Process improvement: Contribute to process improvements and tool adoption.
• Team guidance: Provide day-to-day guidance to analysts.
