Job summary

Cencora, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Manager, Technology Category Management to own technology spend, shape category strategy and partner with business and IT to deliver value and savings.

You will lead sourcing events, negotiations and supplier performance across hardware, software and technology services, coaching teams across onshore and offshore locations while aligning with MA&D initiatives and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, IT or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement with at least 5 years in technology categories.
• 3+ years leading or coaching teams across geographies.
• Proven success negotiating complex technology contracts and delivering savings.
• Strong understanding of technology commercial models and related risk.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage category strategies, sourcing plans and pipelines.
• Own category productivity including cost savings and optimization.
• Lead sourcing events, supplier evaluations, negotiations and awards.
• Drive delivery of negotiated productivity and track benefits.
• Manage supplier performance, contracts, risk, and compliance.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and provide senior leadership updates.
• Manage category budgets, savings tracking and metrics.
• Stay informed on market trends and emerging technologies.
• Support MA&D and corporate initiatives.
• Lead process improvements and standardization.
• Oversee team performance across onshore and offshore locations.
