Ascension Via Christi St. Peter in Derby, KS seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography to perform CT procedures with precision and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience.
• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date; AHA or ARC accepted.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from Kansas Board of Healing Arts within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date.
• NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) required in addition to CNMT CNMT Certification.
• ARRT CT credentialed within 11/4 of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform computerized tomographic procedures with technical precision to provide radiologists with high-quality data for accurate detection of disease and injury.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety through expert positioning and careful parameter selection for each individual.
• Administer contrast media within scope, ensuring compliance with state and federal safety regulations.
• Monitor patient responses during procedures and maintain radiation safety standards and protocol updates.

• Perform computerized tomographic procedures with technical precision to provide radiologists with the high-quality data necessary to ensure accurate detection of disease and injury.

• Prioritize patient comfort and safety through expert positioning and the precise selection of technical parameters tailored to each unique individual.

• Manage clinical administration of contrast media within your professional scope, ensuring all state and federal safety regulations are strictly met.

• Advocate for patient well-being by monitoring responses during procedures and maintaining a rigorous standard for radiation safety and protocol updates.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

• One or more of the following:

• Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.

• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
