Position Summary

Walmart is expanding its workforce and is actively recruiting for a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, consider joining our fast-paced and welcoming environment to support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities.

What you'll do

Support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment, utilizing your commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment. Use our work order system to support store operations, respond promptly to emergency maintenance, inspect and diagnose equipment issues, complete safety training, and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and move ladders as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program
• Mechanical license in the job location's city/state
