LIC based Local 638 HVAC Service Company is seeking highly skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technicians for a fast-paced service department. Opportunities are available in both Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC. WE ARE PROUD TO HIRE VETERANS!

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC/Refrigeration equipment and systems in commercial and industrial establishments.
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate services.
• Identify revenue opportunities and suggest immediate solutions to customers.
• Service and troubleshoot HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.
• Prepare accurate reports on work performed and quotes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and service team members.
• Use all safety and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Provide courteous and helpful customer service.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid, clean driver's license meeting company policies.
• FDNY Torch Certification.
• OSHA 30-hour and 10-hour SST Certifications.
• Proficiency with smartphones; knowledge of IVR and retail procedures is a plus.
• Flexible to work standby rotations and overtime as needed.
