Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. in Woodinville, WA is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to keep our construction fleet running safely and efficiently. You'll perform preventative maintenance, diagnose systems, and handle minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, hydraulic circuits, and drive trains.

The role may involve delivering equipment to other technicians and occasional after-hours OT, supported by a stable benefits package and a culture that values people and safety.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with a construction equipment background.
• Experience with diagnostics and repairs, not just preventative maintenance.
• Experience using diagnostic software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventative maintenance and minor repairs on construction equipment and delivery vehicle fleet.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems; diagnose diesel and gas engines; maintain drive trains.
• Occasionally deliver equipment or parts to other technicians.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

This role consists of ensuring our equipment is up and running safely and smoothly. This means performing regular preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a wide range of construction equipment and delivery vehicle fleet in the branch location. You'll also troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems, diagnose diesel and gas engines, and perform maintenance on drive trains. You may also occasionally deliver equipment or parts to other technicians.

Typical Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7AM-4PM OT depending on business needs

Pay Range

$29.95 - $37.45/Hr
