Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking an experienced diesel mechanic in Woodinville, WA to keep our equipment and delivery fleet running safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs onsite, with occasional parts deliveries to colleagues. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience; you’ll use diagnostic software and tools, and have a mindset for quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with a construction equipment background.
• Must have the tools needed to perform the job; your hands alone won’t suffice.
• Experience with diagnostics and repairs beyond preventative maintenance.
• Experience using diagnostic software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventative maintenance and minor repairs on construction equipment and fleet.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems; diagnose diesel and gas engines.
• Conduct drive train maintenance and occasional on-site deliveries to other technicians.

This role consists of ensuring our equipment is up and running safely and smoothly. This means performing regular preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a wide range of construction equipment and delivery vehicle fleet in the branch location. You’ll also troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems, diagnose diesel and gas engines, and perform maintenance on drive trains. You may also occasionally deliver equipment or parts to other technicians.

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7AM-4PM OT depending on business needs
